Pengalaman Umrah & Ziarah Sekeluarga Hari 11 & 12 (Perjalanan Umrah pada Akhir Musim Sejuk dengan Andalusia 2016)

Our last day for our 12 day Umrah journey and our final day in Mekah.
Before performing our Tawaf Wida or Tawaf Selamat Tinggal, we took one long last look at the magnificient Ka'bah once again.



I will really miss this place. 
So crowded and yet so calming and peaceful.

Though packed most of the time, 
there is always room for everyone.

May Allah grant us with a Mabrur Umrah and
the opportunity to visit this amazing place again..soon.


We performed our Tawaf Wida (Tawaf Selamat Tinggal) after which no photos and other activities are allowed, we need to leave as soon as possible.
So we check-out of the hotel and boarded the bus to Jeddah.

While we were in Jeddah airport, I received a call from my boss asking me if I could start working tomorrow morning since everything had piled-up at the office and I obediently said YES!

We arrived home at 5 o'clock in the morning the following day and a few hours later, I was already at work, staring at the computer at the office!
The usual life continues...but Ka'abah, Madinah and Mekah shall never be forgotten.
Our Umrah journey will always linger.


P/s I can still see the twirling motion of people at the Ka'abah, I can still hear the people calling us 'Hajjah' and 'Haji' while we were there,
the clapping sound and the shouting of "ibu! ibu!" of the women guards in Madinah,
 the tudung terbang in Madinah and all.

And the doves, lovely doves..everywhere..will surely miss all of these!

we will be invited to perform our HAJI soon.

After subuh at Masjidil Haram, we decided to explore Mekah a little bit. 
After all, we only have today and tomorrow to spend in Mekah

We arrived back at the hotel and prepared ourselves to head to Masjidil Haram for Zohor.

And when we got back at the hotel again, our uncle who is working in Mekah stopped by to visit us and much to our surprise, he brought along the famous Al-Baik Fried Chicken and burger.

This fried chicken is definitely delicious. It even taste better than KFC!

It was time for Magrib and we made our way to Masjidil Haram again.

Time flies very fast here since we headed to the mosque 2 hours before every azan, went back to the hotel for our meal and by the time we finished our meal, it was the time to walk back to the mosque.

And magically, you'll never feel tired but rather, always excited to head back to the mosque again and again and again.

My mom and dad , watching the Ka'abah and the surrounding from this Mataf Bridge after completing Tawaf Sunat. 

This is our favorite spot. Tengok ka'abah pun dapat pahala.

The young couple sitting next to my mum were helping each other in memorising/reciting the quran while looking at the Ka'abah.



As midnight approached, the area around the ka'abah was less crowded.
 Infact , it was much less crowded compared to the time when we first performed our umrah at midnight a few days ago.

But soon after, the crowd built-up again..really packed.

Monday, 8th of February 2016

Our last day in Madinah.

After breakfast, my brothers brought all our luggage down to the lobby since we will have to check-out of the hotel after lunch.



With a heavy heart, we will be leaving this magnificent mosque of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). 
But we look forward to witness the most amazing thing, the Holy Ka'abah and hoping for a Mabrur Umrah. 

But before we leave, we went back to Masjid Nabawi for our solat Zohor. 




Later on, we went  to the green dome for our ziarah wida, the final resting place of our prophet (s.a.w) to say goodbye to him as indication we were leaving Madinah.

Finally we left Madinah for Mekah, 
stopping over at Miqat, Bir Ali Mosque. We shall have our solat sunat and change into our ihram attire here in preparation for our first Umrah in Mekah.

Once we boarded the bus again, our Mutawif guided us how to  niat for our first ever Umrah,
  after which, 
we must started to observe all the forbidden acts during ihram until we completed our Umrah.


Now, heading to Mekah. 
We read a lot about Mekah and Umrah and attended Umrah courses, 
but honestly, being our first time here, none of us knew what to expect in this spiritual journey, 
but we knew it will be beautiful and meaningful.  

May we be granted with a Mabrur Umrah.

Friday, 5th of February 2016

After arriving in Jeddah, we took a bus to Madinah. Umrah dan ziarah kami dengan andalusia.

No words can describe our feeling as we enter this holy place, I never ever imagined I could stepped my foot here. Thanks to Allah for the blessings and thanks to my dad for bringing the whole family here with him. 


We arrived at the hotel around 3 in the morning, 
just 2 hours before subuh and had to wait a while to check-in.

And we took our first step to Masjid Nabawi right after we settled into our room. 
Yes, we were tired due to the long journey but the heart cannot wait to enter this magical place. 

 I was in awe when I stepped in. 
Such a beautiful place and one would feel so calm here.

Zamzam drinks to control hunger and thirsts are abundance everywhere, inside and outside the mosque. 

This is our favourite zamzam spot at Masjid Nabawi. 
My mom and I will wait for my dad and the boys near this zamzam spot every time after solat and we will then walk back to the hotel together.

 My mom and I later followed the Ustazah  for a visit to Rawdah, The Garden of Jannah, the most sought after spot in Masjid Nabawi to pray and make doa, 
always full and congested, especially in the women's area.

My dad and the boys visited Jannatul Baqi, They visited Rawdah a few days later.

And after the visit, we spent time around the mosque area for a while before entering the mosque again for Friday prayer.

After lunch, we had a good rest since we were still tired after the long journey from Malaysia. 
Then it was time to head to the mosque for Asar. We then continued to stay at the mosque for Magrib and Isya. 


A very beautiful day ended and
 looking forward for a more beautiful day tomorrow in Madinah.
