Kota Kinabalu, Sabah: day 3

Time to go home but before that,
just can't resist visiting the beach one last time :)

And on our way to the airport,
we stopped by to have a good view of the floating mosque.

Kota Kinabalu is really a beautiful city. I like everything about this place.

Will definitely visit K.K again, Insya'Allah.
The beautiful islands surrounding KK and the Mount Kinabalu are calling me!

And when I reached K.L,
my exams were waiting for me.
Had to stay up until the wee hours to study for the exams the following day
but still.....I kept longing for the beach.

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah: day 2

Second day in Kota Kinabalu.

Loving the green so much.
Somehow, I hardly felt tired even after walking for hours simply because
the green was so soothing to the eyes.

We saw this Rumah Terbalik
on our way to Kundasang.
Kereta terbalik pun ada.
Good idea for a tourist attraction kan?

View from the viewing deck in Nabalu.
Breathtaking! Awesome!

Again,
going crazy at this market in Pekan Nabalu.
My mom and dad had to call me a few times since I just can't get my feet off that market.
Macam ada glue kat kasut.
Furthermore, the items here are much cheaper than the one at the handycraft market.

Finally, we reached Taman Kinabalu. It was foggy and quite chill
even at the foot of the mountain.
I was a bit dissappointed that we did not actually plan to climb this time around.
Well, we did not plan at all, it was not a planned holiday
But we did get all the information needed to climb this beautiful mountain,
(at least half way or a quarter way or lesser..hmm..), for our next visit.

And again, we just love the beach and
just had to drop by to enjoy the serenity once gain on our way back to the hotel.

Tell me one good, reasonable, valid reason
why I should not love the beach!

Pergi Sabah,
kena la beli baju Sabah bah!

p/s I so wanna climb the mountain someday, Insya'Allah.

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah: day 1

I ended up in Sabah a few days ago. Not alone, with ze family of course.
It was not a planned holiday, more like an impromtu outings
but it ended with a lot of beautiful memories.

I love the beach.
Every where we went,
we were surrounded by beautiful beaches and the blue ocean.

Sutera Harbour.
This place is so beautiful and calming.
The staff were busy preparing for a wedding reception that very night when we were there.
What a romantic place to celebrate the most important moment of your life.
Best nye, naaak jugaaaak!
errr..but I need to find a calon first.

I went crazy at this handycraft market, Pasar Filipina.
Everything here is so colorful and appealing,
I feel like buying the whole market.
Ayooo Ayoooo

Now this is something that I have not seen anywhere else.
Guys sitting obediently next to a row of sewing machines outside the handicraft market,
waiting for customers.
Now that is unique. They must be really good at sewing.

The waterfront, another romantic ambiance.
I can sit here or
stroll along these board walk all day long
and still cannot get enough of it.

We had our dinner near the beach.
What better way to enjoy your meal than to be closed to nature.

Falling in love with Kota Kinabalu.

For the first time ever I set my foot on the ground of Kota Kinabalu,
a beautiful city indeed.

It maybe just another city in Malaysia, but I do feel the uniqueness of this city.
The people, their dialect and culture and I am loving them.

I love everything about this place.
I love the fact that everywhere I went, I was almost certain,
I'll get to see either the beach or the mountains.
It is either the blue ocean or the green hills.

Will definitely be back again.
Next time, I'll aimed for the islands and mountain climbing, for sure.
