Pengalaman Umrah & Ziarah Sekeluarga Hari 10 (Perjalanan Umrah pada Akhir Musim Sejuk dengan Andalusia 2016)

Saturday, 13th of February 2016

Our forth and last Umrah today. 
Our Miqat is at Hudaibiyyah.

After subuh prayers at Masjidil Haram and breakfast, as usual we boarded the bus.
Our first destination for ziarah was the Museum of Two Holy Mosques.

Later on, we headed to Hudaibiyyah for our Miqat. 
We snapped a few photos in front of what was left of Hudaibiyyah mosque before getting into ihram attire.

We had our prayers at a small mosque structure situated next to the ruins and once we recite our niat for Umrah, our Ihram started.

We were back in Masjidil Haram again and completed our fourth  and final Umrah.

Never get tired of this place.
There was always an amazing feeling when I was there.


 Today was a long day.
We had ziarah in the morning, performed Umrah during noon.

And after Isyak at Masjidil Haram, we joined the group to climb Jabal thur. This is where Gua Hirak is located. The place where our Prophet (s.a.w) received his first revelation. 

After alighting from the bus, we had to take a van towards the foot of Jabal Thur. It was a roller coaster ride, very bumpy and quite a scare. The trails heading to the top of Jabal Thur were extremely steep. Some people had to give-up halfway. I was lucky to have my strong brothers with me. Aiman carried my bag and both of them made sure I reached the top safely.

It was amazing how my dad made it since he is already 51 years old.
I guess his determination to witness Gua Hirak himself kept him going all the way.

My mom could not join us since she had a bad ankle.
And my little brother accompanied her at the hotel. 


It was an emotional journey for some of the climbers.
 I heard the sound of ladies weeping as they climbed. One Arab lady even screamed because she was too tired.  Just imagine how determined Siti Khadijah was, 
the wife of our Prophet (s.a.w), 
who climbed Jabal Thur everyday to send him food.

Finally arrived in Mekah at almost 10pm. 
It was hard to describe our feeling at this time. First time ever stepping into this Holy city and so eager (and nervous) to witness the Ka'abah and perform our first ever umrah, 

After checking into our hotel room and had a delicious packed of Nasi Arab for dinner, 
we started walking towards the Ka'abah to perform our first ever umrah.

 There it was, right in front of my eyes, the most beautiful thing ever, the Kaabah, 
The first sight of the holy Ka'abah will make anyone cry..I surely did.

We were in one big group with our Mutawif to guide us through our Umrah.
 But the moment we entered the Ka abah area to perform the Tawaf, the whole group dispersed. We cannot stay together in a group since there were too many people around us.

Thankfully, every family member managed to perform the tawaf, saie and tahalul.  
We completed our first ever Umrah and we were no longer in Ihram. 

After Umrah, we went up to the Mataf Bridge to get an areal view of the Holy Ka'abah while waiting for azan subuh.

Just staring at the Ka'abah gave us great peace of mind and heart. 
And we'll never get tired of looking at those people performing the tawaf, an endless twirl that you will never witness anywhere else.
Unexplained joy to be here, only the heart knows.

Then we heard the azan subuh echoing in the air.
Facing the Ka'abah and having the first ever Masjidil Haram Azan in our ears..speechless again.. and feeling so blessed.

We were back at our hotel for breakfast but soon after we walked back to Masjidil Haram. 
That's the right place to be.

Umrah dan Ziarah Pada Musim Sejuk dengan Andalusia. Menziarahi Masjid Quba, menziarahi Jabal Uhud dan menziarahi ladang kurma dan beli kurma di kedai kurma. Mencari pakej umrah dan ziarah yang sesuai dan berpatutan. Barang yang perlu di bawa untuk umrah dan ziarah.

Today is our very first ziarah in Madinah.

After subuh at masjid Nabawi and breakfast at the hotel, 
we took the bus to Masjid Quba, the first ever mosque built.
But I heard that the original building was demolished and this is now the new building.

Quba Mosque is unique.
 It is white in color and it seemed to blend in with the clouds in the sky. 
Such a beauty. 

It was really crowded inside the mosque especially in the women's area. 

We really had to struggle to get a spot to have our solat sunat here. 
But it is worth every effort as one solat sunat here is equivalent to one Umrah performed.

Next, 
we headed to Jabal Uhud where the Battle of Uhud took place.

It is hard to described how the rugged red granite mountains of Jabal Uhud looked like in real life. 
You just have to witness them youself!





. 



Our next stop is the Dates Farm.






The Dates Farm has a small shop which sells all sorts of dates and nuts. 
We did not buy anything but we enjoyed the scenery outside the shop with all the tall dates trees. 
Our mutawif had informed us that we will stop by at a date shop on our way back later so we decided to buy the dates there.


Our final stop today, the Dates Shop.

We bought our dates and nuts here. 
This shop is not that far away from our hotel but it is quite a distance by foot.

Later on,
we were back at the hotel and preparing for solat Zohor at Masjid Nabawi.

Masjid Nabawi is so lively. 
Every time after prayers , there will be various seller selling all kinds of stuff near the entrance of the mosque. And they are quite cheap here.



I just love the atmosphere when the seller shouted and called out for customers in Bahasa Malaysia.
 And when they stood on a chair and started tossing out the scarves in the air to attract the potential buyers.. awesome!.
Now I know what people meant when they told us that we could see "tudung terbang" infront of Masjid Nabawi.
